Usually about this time of year, I get a little tired. I'm tired of school and tired of activities. I'm ready for things to wind down and be done and for the lazy days of summer to start. But, one thing I don't really get tired of is going to dance competitions. I love them! April 9th, Taya and Chloe had their biggest and final dance competition of the season in Rochester. We drove down the night before and stayed at a hotel. The girls had a blast swimming in the pool and playing with their friends from dance, many of whom stayed at the same hotel. It was really a HUGE competition. It started Friday night. Then, on Saturday, there were dancers competing from 8:00am to 11:30pm. There were teams there from Illinois, Iowa and South Dakota. HUGE! I love watching the girls step it up and really nail their routine. They are both getting so good. Taya took first place in kick and 4th place in jazz and Chloe took first place with her jazz routine. I am so proud of you girls!!!
