The girls have their first competition at St. Cloud State University on Sunday. I don't ever get sick of watching them leap through the air, twirl or kick. They both did amazing jobs! Chloe's team took 1st place in their jazz competition and Taya's team took 1st place in jazz and 2nd place in kick. Congratulations ladies! I am so very proud of you!

Kidneyfest
Okay Heidi...I'll give you this one! Do you notice that Mike is smiling more in this picture with you than he is in the one with me? Do you think I'm reading too much into this? Ha! |
Naomi made kidney shaped cookies! I love that girl! |
A kidney bean dish....too cool! |
Naomi and her new puppy Willow |
Corey getting a little spoiled by my friends! |
Who ordered the Chippendales? Awesome! |
After Chloe's party, Corey & I got together with friends to have kidneyfest in celebration of Corey getting a new kidney. Naomi hosted the pre-party in her garage and then we went to Hairball at the Red Carpet! Other than a mix-up with the wristbands at the concert, Tracy's friend getting her hair pulled by some random girl, me getting several drinks spilled on me and the venue being so crowded we practically got pummeled trying to listen to the band, it was a great evening! Just kidding! It was SO MUCH FUN! Thank you so much to all my friends for making it such a great night! I love you guys!!!
Happy 8th Birthday Chloe!
Oh look! They're almost getting along! |
Chloe got Paremsan cheese from Grandpa & Karin! That's right! For some reason, she loves the stuff and will always steal the block of cheese when she's at Grandpa's house and start eating it! Weird! |
Chloe excited to get her Kindle Fire! |
Chloe & Taya immediately put together the gingerbread house Nicole gave her for her birthday! |
The weather was so nice for Chloe's party this year! How awesome was that? My aunt and uncle from South Dakota and my dad's cousin and her husband from Brooklyln Park were able to make it and my two wonderful friends Jordy and Nicole surprised me and came. Chloe was so excited to get a Kindle--now we just need to figure out how to use the darn thing! She got many other wonderful gifts too. Thanks to my sis for making the graduation salad! I love that stuff! Happy, happy 8th birthday sweetheart!
